Initially our final pitch was called to be 'The Lane' inspired by the first episode of Eastenders in the 80s which saw many characters being questioned in relation to a murder that had happened on the square prior to the soaps debut. we had planned to begin the soap trailer with a quick insight into a Murder Investigation this was to Create a Narrative that could link all of the different families featured within our soap whilst creating a sense of community. However whilst considering all of the limiting factors it had become apparent that it would be difficult to set up the investigation in a way that it appeared realistic to the audience because of this we decided not to use this particular Narrative.
